Dorothy Ha
Hello! Welcome to my poetry website! My name is Dorothy and I am a queer Asian poet based in New York City and New Haven. My poems have been recognized on the national level and read and displayed in institutions such as the Metropolitan Museum of Art. I served as the president of Stuyvesant High School’s Poetry Hub, which publishes student poetry in biannual pamphlets and an annual exhibition, prepares students to enter their work into written and spoken word poetry competitions, and reads poetry for fundraising events in collaboration with organizations such as UNICEF. Through my poetry, I aim to spark change and inspire others.
My Work
A small collection of some of my best-recognized work.
Note that these poems may mention themes of racism, death, religion, and/or LGBTQ+ identity.
